About Us
Mission and Mandate
The Child Care Provider Action Committee (CCPAC) champions the principle of “Nothing About Me, Without Me.” Its mission is to serve as the direct link between Nevada’s early childhood workforce and state policy bodies.
The CCPAC’s core mission is to establish a permanent voice for child care providers in policy creation. By securing this seat, we ensure that the systems and services impacting early childhood educators, young children, and the broader child care support structure are developed, reviewed, and improved from the provider’s perspective.
Structure and Expertise
The CCPAC is composed exclusively of child care providers—including home-based and center-based owners and directors throughout Nevada. This composition guarantees that recommendations are grounded in practical and operational expertise.
The committee meets quarterly to discuss critical issues, generate ideas, and develop solutions to create a long-term positive impact on the early learning sector.
